Thank you for your advice. We ended up not using the Duramycin. We just gave her and the flock VetRX and gave her Neobicide and gave used Durastat in the water. We don't have a vet close by who'll see chickens so hoping for the best. After one day of treating her and keeping her in tbe and house she sounds better already.Duramycin wont treat gapeworm, it's an antibiotic to treat respiratory diseases in poultry. You'll need a wormer such as Safeguard liquid goat wormer or Valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer or Levamisole to treat gapeworms.
But first, you should take a fresh fecal sample to a vet and have them look for gapeworm eggs under a microscope to verify if gapeworm eggs are present on the slide.
Gapeworm arnt common in chickens.
