Hi Everyone,
My hen has been dealing with some respiratory issues. She currently has one runny nostril and a week ago had a runny eye and her breathing was a bit off. The running eye and nostril are on the same side of her face. What should I do for her? Does she have a sinus infection or something else? She is currently in a crate by herself and is pretty unhappy. Luckily she is still eating and drinking, though she is also molting.

Since the others have probably already been exposed to what she may have, I would tend to let her out with her flock so that there is less stress. When they are separated for more than a couple of days, they can be bullied when they come back into the flock. She sounds like she may have a respiratory sinus disease, such as mycoplasma or MG. I would try to get tylosin powder for the water, an antibiotic that is approved for chickens. Treat for 5 days at 1 tsp per gallon of water. Here is where to get it:
