This afternoon I found my Isa Brown hen Basil is having a weak left leg, she walked normal, then her left leg collapses and she picked her self up continue on her way.

She is molting slowly and receiving extra protein like sardine and eggs. She is not laying egg because she is on implant. She is on the skinny side as usual, but this afternoon I noticed her keel bone is sharp at the touch, she thinner than before.

Basil is active doing her things and eating aggressively as per usual.

I gave her 3ml of poultry vitamin drink this afternoon and another sardine.
She mostly have solid poops, sometime watery

I did lot of searching on BYC and read the article on Marek disease&many posts. I am thinking she could have marek or botulism.

We have a compost bin in the middle of my chicken run, only this week that it has maggots and 4 of my chickens ate them...this could cause botulism, this bin did not have maggot before, but only recently that it does.

Because she is alert, active and eating as per usual, so I think she might be having botulism. What should I do? Should I flush her?

Thank you in advance.
