I found one of my hens the other day
Symptoms:
  • Underside is all bone
  • Not eating
  • Barely able to walk
  • Not laying eggs
  • Hides in semi-dark places
  • lethargic
  • Temperature is normal
Attempted remedies:
  • VetRx
  • Vitamins
  • Medicated feed
  • Apple cider vinegar in water
  • Clearing the crop (going upside down with her)
  • Checking for egg in vent with my finger

History:
  • She’s vaccinated for Fowl pox
  • Vaccinated for Merrick‘s disease

I’ve concocted a “worm milkshake” that contains vetRx, vitamins, mealworms, yogurt, water, and a raw egg. I force feed her this using a syringe. I can get about 3 ml down her a day. Since she has been on the worm milkshake she has been able to walk, and she had started talking. She is still in the chicken hospital and she won’t fly, and the other symptoms remain.

Does anyone have suggestions on what’s wrong with her and how to fix her?

How old?
What breed?
What is her current weight?
Can you put her in a warm room? 80-85 degrees is ideal
Have you checked her entire body for lice?

How old is she? Sounds like your doing everything right..what about some broad spectrum antibiotics in water? Does she have mites? Worms? I'm sure you've checked you just didn't mention. The sad fact is that sometimes they just die. Had a beautiful barred rock only one year old do this to me. It's always another learning opportunity in my chicken veterinarian hobby. You can get wormer and antibiotics online . Good to have on hand for future. Good luck with your girl.

She’s about 2 years old.
Americana
She’s in the garage
I don’t see any bugs on her, I gave her a dirt bath myself.
I also gave her corrid in her water
Her temperature is normal.
she’s now walking, but not flying or eating normally.
she avoids the flock
Her poo is greenish
She doesn’t want to free range

Hang in there. Hope she improves with some tlc.. I'm force feeding a chicken in the house too. Sometimes it's just a mystery and I dont take chickens to vet. The rest of your flock is all fine?
