I am having to thin my flock so I need to begin with my roosters and possibly more chickens in the near future, But for right this minute I have to start somewhere
I have:
* a nearly 2 year old black Cochin rooster...."Kodak"
* a 1 year old white barn yard mix of ISA brown and Cochin, he is smaller statured and has never attacked me or any of my children "Snow"
* a 6 month old white silkie, still young so his temperament is gentle so far "Birdy Sanders"

all three are smaller but not mini.....they can be separated mostly because while they tolerate each other they would rather not ever see each other again...these are good boys and it is hard to see them go

"...because while they tolerate each other they would rather not ever see each other again..."

Thank you for the laugh this morning! I have adopted male chickens that felt the same way. Now everyone gets along, despite age, breed, size, and previous life situation. :) I am sure that having lots of room for the guys to run around helps.
