Hens and Roos together?

They look and taste the same. You would never know, except for that one tiny dot. I thought the same way last year, but now to me a fertile egg is one that is being incubated. The one in the fridge is an egg.
Hens love a rooster around. If he's a good roo. Mine fluffs the nest for them to lay eggs in the morning, he calls them over to eat a bug he found, he cheers them on when they're laying, he makes that egg laying noise.

In our case our one Roo was a little monster and would not leave the ladies a lone. He was constantly harassing the hens. So he ending up getting his on hutch and yard.

Hopefully one of the new Pullets for this year will work out better.
