I have 10 hens in with 2 roos. a few of my hens are featherless on their heads and a few others you can see the feather shafts on their wings. sometimes the roos fight over the girls but the other day I saw the 1 yr. old roo jump on the older one and then the older roo jumped on one of the girls (that had no feathers on her head) and bite her head pulling out her feathers and a piece of her comb. I am not sure if it is the young roo trying to take over but my girls look awful. Any advice. I think I need to find a new roo.
