Hens continue to lay while on roosting poles

Okay so I can't figure this out and it's getting a bit frustrating. So for about a week now 3 of my 6 hens are laying while roosting. I have the fake eggs in the nesting boxes and my other 3 hens have been laying in there for almost 3 weeks now. For the last week I've found about 6 eggs splattered on my shelf under the roosting poles. I've tried keeping them in the coop to watch the other hens lay. I've tried separating those 3 in the coop for a couple days with 4 fake eggs in my 5 nesting boxes for them to see. I've tried placing them in the boxes so they know they can be in there. Nothing is working and it's getting real frustrating. Please help!

what if you take the roosting poles out for a while till they figure it out?

I've got one that's laying while roosting. If she doesn't get it figured out soon I may remove the roost

I could try that. My roosts are a pretty permanent feature but I can probably box around them for a while
