Hens doing the happy dance

My hens are about 2 yrs. old . They started doing the happy dance. I have some bantam that are about 3mo. old . I'm not sure if they're roos or not (silkies). Are my girls really frustrated or what? There has never been a roo in the pen before. I think one of the silkies is a roo

Older hens are really set on their ways. Bringing new birds into their coop, drinking their water, eating their food, tends to upset them. Everyone will adjust fine, unless their is a cockeral in the mix. Then things will change for sure, even the happy dance. good luck!

The Happy Dance! LOL If you are reffering to what I think you are reffering I have never heard it called that before.

I have alot of kids in and out ofmy house and thats the first thing I thought when a 4yr says " what are they doing".
