Today I moved my turkey tractor for the first time and my hens, who were out free ranging went after the spilled turkey grower feed like it was candy. Mostly this made me happy, because the turkey poults are such messy eaters that I swear they spill as much as they actually eat, and I'd prefer not to simply feed the spilled food to the local chipmunks and sparrows. However I thought I'd ask all of you if there is any reason I should discourage this.
