hens eggs

i have 2 hens sitting on six eggs each as they went very broody tryed candling one of the eggs after 6 days of putting eggs underneth hens and all i can see is a very big dark mass within the egg is cant realy see any blood vessels but am very new to all this is that a good sign or a bad sign and my hens vave lost all there feathers underneath any advice would be very greatfull

Hens pluck their undersides when they sit on eggs. It's nothing to worry about. Have a look here for an egg candling reference:

If you are inexperienced at candling, you should probably wait until day 10 - day 7 would be the earliest even an experienced candler usually tackles it, and after 10 days it is more obvious.
