Hens holding out on me

I hatched out some salmon faverolles on July 3-4 2008. I have yet to see an egg from them. Is this normal, or rather, when can I expect my first eggs from these 4 girls? All my other breeds started laying within 6 months. Thanks.

Are you sure they aren't laying in a secret spot? My chickens tend to get very creative with where they lay their eggs! I don't know much about the Salmon Faverolles, though. Good luck!
