My name is Ryan and I live in Tacoma, WA. My wife and I bought a pair of chickens, a Barred Rock and Araucana, on our way home from a vacation where I had just proposed marriage. This was in March of this year, and I had never owned or even held a chicken in my life. At this point I was set on building a coop and doing it in fairly quick time to accommadate our new and mysterious pets. I became aware of this site immediately while browsing for coop designs. Thanks to "Witchita Cabin", whom I modeled my design after. I wil love showing it once I get my 10 posts, and look forward to gaining the insights and advice needed to raise these little beauties.
