Hens joining a roo

I have a remaining roo from a bachelor flock and I bought some chicks to put in with him. My question is, how old should the pullets be before introducing them to the roo? He is 6 months old but massive. He is 15 lbs. and larger than a soccer ball. The hens are 3 weeks old. My big worry is him crushing the hens.

At the age of three weeks they are still baby pullets, not hens. And they would need at least 5-6 more months until they can join the male and deal with his "attentions".

Maybe get him some adult hens to help with loneliness.
