Hens need help....

I recently purchashed(rescued) some hens and there really underweight, i checked for mites and other parasites and they were surprisely parasite free, i also de-wormed the poor souls, I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions on helping them gain some pounds. I feed my others hens layer pellets and im not shure that will really help them..

Try feeding them grower feed.

well depending on how much money you want to spend to find out you could always take them to an avian vet. My roo was not gaining weight and the vet said it was a malabsorbtion issue - they starve to death. He is currently on medication and a special food, but I also went to giving him grower and am happy to say he has gained 3 pounds:yiipchick

thanks....well i guess ill feed them flockraiser since it has a bit more protein that grower....thank you
