Hens not giving it up??

I have 10 hens and see the roos breeding all but two JG's. I have seen the dominant roo approach the the two JG's but they always refuse him. Do you think that he is breeding them when I'm not looking or is it common for a hen to play hard to get? I want to put some of their eggs in the bator as an experiment and this is kinda putting me off.

I'd do it the easy way- check their eggs for fertility for 3-4 days. If they're fertilized, no problem, they're just private.
