Hens not laying help!

We have a 8 month old black sex link that has stopped laying. She was laying 6 eggs a week and now nothing for the past week or so. Looked all around the coop and run, can't find any hidden. What can I do?

There could be several reasons for no egg. Firstly and most importantly, is she ok? Not lethargic, puffed up, eating/drinking ok? Has the weather been uncomfortably hot? My girls slow down when it's too hot. Has something scared her/recent change in her routine? Chickens are creatures of habit, a change can throw them off. Any chance a snake or other critter is taking the egg?

Thanks for the fast response. We just integrated our chicks with the hens but there were still eggs in the coop.(we have two layers). She looks normal and appears to be healthy. It's very hot and humid here so perhaps thats what it is.

I suspect the integrating and the weather have upset her a bit. When she settles, I think she'll be fine,

ironically she started laying today again. So hopefully it's back to a regular one a day!
