Hens not laying (one died)

Overnight one of my hens died. Today none of them laid. Her stopping laying in as the only thing different we noticed. It is hot where we are, Phoenix. The heat crept this year fast!! I do think it was possibly heat exhaustion but none of my other hens laid today.

Any thoughts?

No. She was found in the nesting box this morning. Went inside with all the hens to roos last night. We saw her drink water and eat yesterday.

No. But perhaps I should have. I thought the flock was tapering off laying with the heat.
