Hens not laying?

So, our hens born in late Feb and they haven't laid any eggs. They are in a pen approx size is 12 length x 8 width x 5 foot high. We have 7 in there.

Could they not be laying because it's too crowded? We have fake looking eggs in there but it's seems as they don't go into the barn coop at all unless it's at night.

I have 14 pullets hatched on March 3rd, and only 2 are laying. A lot depends on the breed. I have 2 sex links, they are the one who are laying. Sometimes it can take up to 30 weeks, depending on the breed. Watch their wattles & Combs for growth & reddening, watch for squatting. (you'll know it when u see it)! Be patient!
