hens not laying

2 weeks ago I added 4 new hens and a rooster to my flock of 12 hens. For the first week my egg production stayed the same (8 or 9 a day) Since last week they are now only laying 2 a day. They are not out roaming so not able to hide the eggs. Do you think its a case of delayed "new chicken stress"
I hope they will start laying again, any ideas anyone? Thanks

Any time chickens have a change they egg production will either slow down or stop for a bit. Could be a week, could be a few days.
