Hens or toms? Can anyone tell?

hens or Jakes? The one on top is pecan and the one being heldd is acorn
 
Way too young. Generally you can start seeing the differences by 3-4 months of age. Occasionally a Tom will start displaying young, otherwise you need to have patience.
We are thinking acorn might be a Tom due to its head shape, it has much more defined eye sockets and a more shaped head than pecan
