Well the huge gigantic snowfall we had last week

of a whole foot of snow

did do a little damage around here. A big branch fell from a tree and our fence busted.

So the girls have been stuck in their run (10x10) for almost a week. They were going nuts trying to sneak past me to roam the yard. Every time I opened the door they were running back and forth against the run trying to convince me they needed out!!!

Thankfully the husband fixed the fence yesterday and the girls are out today having a ball in the yard.

We have to keep the tom turkeys locked in the chicken pen or else, because they can only walk on the paths we dug, they end up on our porch.

Yeah...mine have a roomy run, but they LOVE getting out of it, crowding around the door when I come in. I've dug lots of paths for them out and about...

mine to, i notice in the am they are all around the coop inside, waitring for me to open the doors, so they can go out, and i do most of the time, when i will be around the house and keep an eye on them, for preditators, so glad to hear others are experiencing the same
