Hens Stopped Laying

I have 3 hens that were laying up until the 26th of Oct. I left to go out of town for 5 days and my son was
caring for them. He is usually the one that cares for them anyway BUT sometimes I do have to remind him.
Since I left town they have not laid even one egg.

At the sametime that I was away, the weather changed and it is cooler here in Arizona, but I wouldnt think it
would make adifference.

I cant think of anything else that has changed. Please help me so I can help my girls!!!

My chickens stopped laying because they are molting (which is normal). Fall is the typical time that chickens molt. Mine don't even look like they lost that many feathers, but I can see the new little pin feathers growing in. if you give them a little extra protein they may get over their molt sooner if that is what caused the break in egg laying.
