I have only a few chickens; they are trying to out do me. It statred like this.
One day I moved a hen from her two day old eggs. she did not like it. the next day there were two hens in the same nest, I still took the eggs. that goes on for three or four days, there would be three and four hens in the same nest. I still took the eggs.
There wound up to be six hens in the same nest and another nest with two hens. but the two hens had no eggs under them.That went on for a few days, and then the two hens on no eggs layed two eggs and left the nest without setting on them, that happened for a few days, three and four eggs in the decoy nest with no hens on the eggs.
I had been concentrating on the three nests for, yep about 21 days and I found out they had snookered me totally.
This morning I found I had nine chicks in the shed beside the chicken coop. boy did they fool me. LOL
The story is all true. no joke !
