Her eggs are too big

She is 10 months old and a Calico Princess.
You are doubly blessed, for the time being. I have a Blue Sapphire who is now 2 y.o. that was doing just that in her first months of laying, she's now only laying regular eggs. Your girl's excited system should settle down.

I have a hen that consistently lays gigantic, double yolk eggs, daily. I can’t imagine how this isn’t going to kill her. These eggs are ridiculously huge. I feel so bad for her. Is there anything I can do to help her? I’m including a photo. She sometimes lays eggs even larger.
Hi any updates on this? What did you end up doing?
I got 3 ISA brown/production red sex linked hens and they lay an egg everyday even though the winter. Sometimes double yolked. I have heard reducing light for emergencies to help hopefully stop laying. People do it when their is an prolapse vent or issue with egg laying. Apparently this person who wrote a chicken keeping book recommends 8 hours of sunlight only. There’s also an implant for chickens that many people use to stop their egg laying. Cost depends on the vet and location you are in. If it’s only a few hundred bucks and can last 2-8 months I would totally do it. They are my pets and I want to extend their life without having the egg laying taking a toll on them.
