She has been like this for an hour or so and I’m not sure what to do... is she ok?!?!

Yes it’s hot, and she has mites, but I treated her about a week ago, but I can never get all of the mites off of her feathers...
You have to continue to treat and also treat the coop. The can and will kill her if you dont get them off of her.

I just use diluted permethrin spray under her feathers... is that what I should be using?

We had a rooster with a purplish face ..he couldn’t breathe very well, causing the discoloration. Does she have something stuck in her mouth or throat causing her to net be able to breath well? Any discharge from mouth, or nostrils?

To treat for mites, yes diluted permethrin spray (dilute per directions on concentrate bottle) is to be sprayed on skin- under wings, around vent area particularly. Repeat in 7-10 days.

Age and breed? How does she look otherwise (any belly swelling, lost weight, etc)?

She is around 4, no swelling, no lost weight, and she is a white leghorn

All the ones I've had that have developed a purple comb and breathing difficulties (not that there were many) had heart issues. Has there been any change?
