definitely not new to chickens i have raised chickens on and off since i was a child i currently have 2ducks 1male 1 female 9bantams 3roos 6hens 3rir hens 3meat chickens 1roo 2 hens and 6turkeys sex unknown i have 8chick eggs in incubater and 150quail eggs in incubater 6ducks and 6geese on the way. I love the amazement in my children's eye's when they care for them and play with them we have a rooster his name is monster he comes when called and looks at you when you say his name he is super funny and a turkey named troublemaker that likes to swim with the ducks and get into trouble hence the name we also have 2 rescued beagles, 4cats, 3leopard frogs my kids caught in the pond , and fish oh and kittens on the way im a huge DIY'r I make baskets, wine,makeup, jelly and lotions and body washes I'm a sahm but I used to be an STNA in a nursing home which I miss very much
