I really enjoy seeing what other people do for coops, so I figured I would post a couple videos of mine on here. I made the vids for some friends on another board, which is who I am addressing the questions to. Anyway, I use dog kennels almost exclusively for security. First, I can lock them, and second nothing but 9 guage chain link keeps my dogs out if they really wanted to get in. It works out pretty good. I would much rather tether them all, as it is so much healthier and you can keep moving t hem to clean, fresh grass, but for hens and for breeding time it is not always practical. So...
