Renewed my interest in laying chickens about 4 years ago, & now that I'm retired, I've been busy with some Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, a few barred rock, & some Olive egger/EE. Have about 50 hens in 3 separate coops along with roos, divided by breed/mix. Got my daughter involved by getting her a starter pack of silver laced & gold lace Wyandotte chicks, who are now producing eggs etc. I also enjoy my field line Labrador Retrievers, and compete in dog sports with them.
