Hi,
Here is "Blackie" yes i know its an original name, but the name has stuck!
She follows me everywhere, she is an auntie to all the baby chicks, she even protected me from my rooster.
She's the most easygoing chook!
You can see she has a "kind" eye!!!

Yes, I do see the "kind eye". Kind of "soft and sweet". I don't have an eye like that in my adopted flock, but maybe someday I will.

She is very sweet looking. I have a hen that is my "baby" as well. She loves to sit in my lap, and always wants me to carry her around. I think she is a little spoiled! LOL

sorry I forgot to say that Blackie is a black xbred, well thats the name of the breed they gave me!!
Ill ask the store tommorrow, they may know what breeds she is made up of! she's the best layer and not a broody, she's my pavlova and omelette girl!

I have 2 black sex links. Wow, Nessa has the largest eggs I've ever seen in my life! She's really friendly too, but always looking for a treat. I thought of incubating her eggs, but what would pop out...Super Chick?
