Thanks ducks_rcool for putting those up! I used to be able to put pics on this site, but since the format changed, I can't.
They are such nice duckies. So calm for ducks only here about 18 hours.
Just gave them a bowl to bathe in, not sure if they will. But they are eating and drinking like crazy.
It was funny this am. They are separated in a wire pen. Let all the other ducks out. The two other muscovies, Vivica and Valentina, made a beeline for the new ducks and did all the tail wagging and trilling at them. The other ducks (runners, pekin and mutt) have barely acknowledged the new scovies. Vivica and Valentina have not left them at all. Can ducks recognize their own breed? Really interesting to see what happens when they get to interact. I wonder if all 4 muscovies will pal around together or will they all stay in bunches, two new scovies, two old scovies and the other for original ducks?

I can't verify it but I am thinking they may know their own kind, hopefull they all be one happy flock before long.
