Does anyone know where I may purchase breeding stock for the Blue Laced Red Wyandotte? I'm wanting to start some basic breeding program for this breed, and know that I don't want chicks from run of the mill hatcheries.

Thanks,

You can search the NPIP for hatcheries and breeders by state:

Smaller farms/breeders/hatcheries may have websites, or may use FB or CL to sell. Maybe someone is near enough to drive to.

They use stock codes, so here are the codes for regular sized Wyandottes:

If you are interested in Bantam class, then here are the codes:

Foley Line of BLRW is pretty nice. He doesn't ship eggs at all and as of now does not ship chicks. So in lieu of direct source I'd give North Star a go. I've seen birds from their hatching eggs. Very good quality. Was told, can't vouche for it, that North Star BLRW are Foley line.

I'll add Foley's website too, looking it over see he sold his entire flock. Could be the North Star of Montana did buy up his stock....Hmm
