Hello, I’m from Iowa, although have lived in Maine, NC and Colorado.
My interest in poultry is in meat production. I have raised pastured poultry off and on for a decade and am inspired by traditional European poultry farming. My goal is to raise a few breeds for the local restaurant and direct to consumer markets.
I hope to learn a lot about breeding and improving chicken breeds.
