Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

We have a crossbeak that started developing it at around two weeks old. We fed her wet crumbles for most of her life. We kept her beak trimmed and bought a fingernail dremel to do that with.

She lives in a huge pen with a handicapped cockerel and, most recently, two baby ducks. That's why we tried the vertical nipple bottle, as the ducks muck up their water. She went right to it, with success! She eats dry food from a 5-gallon PVC bucket, but I know crossbeaks will lose more than they eat, so I still bring out wet crumbles or ferment to their pen daily, and she's the first one there.

She laid her first egg last week.
