My husband and I are new to raising chicks and will need a lot of help. I helped my Great Grandmother feed chickens when I was a little girl and remember how excited I was. They were so interesting and funny. I've always wanted to have them & now things have worked in my favor. We have 2 amber links and 2 reds (I think like Rhode Island Red) they weren't very specific at the store. The babies are 3 weeks old now and we've had them a little over a week. I picked this site because it seemed like everyone was really trying to help each other and very serious and nice about it. My husband is building a tractor coop and very good at it. He has great ideas, but we will have questions along the way. We're excited about starting this new adventure together and want to make sure we take care of our chicks and keep them healthy and safe. We have 8 grandchildren and know there is so much they can learn while having fun doing it. It's their job to pick out names which is going to be interesting!
Thank you all for taking time out of your busy day to help people like me with answers. I'll try not to bombard you with too many questions.
Thanks again and God bless you all.
