Hello, my father's birthday was march 17th, RIP Dad...St Patrick's day, my birthday is the same week, Flanigan's was our special place for our birthday dinner I always order the same thing.... I still carry that tradition in his honor, my dad looked like a Leprichaun!...lol......i see your a 4-H'r.......when my sons and niece were younger they were in 4H and FFA, i was a band dad as well as an 4H/FFA dad, always driving the trucks hauling children and/or livestock up and down the state of Florida to the fairs. My niece's Ag Teacher was Mr. Gaelon Parton, cousin to Dolly Parton, and we used to drive up to Tennessee, the name of the city escapes me..... we'd bring back steers and spring lambs both of which he raised on his land up there. Always enjoyed visiting Tennessee, as a matter of fact, my Paint mare is a TWH rescue horse, i always favored gaited horses, waited a long time for her, have her for years now, she appears on the picture on my profile, she's the 1st paint shown on the left, the middle Paint is a cross between a Quarter horse and Arabian-he's a handful, and the Bay horse on the far right is a TB retired pony horse, nice lady from my job gifted him to my son (she knew we'd give it a good home) he'd lost his favorite horse from colic an Appy/paint also also a rescue almost 2 years prior .....there I go again, Im easily distracted by Chickens and Horses.....lol....gotta get beck to work now ! have a great day! thanks for the messageDelish. Love corned beef.![]()
That is a great birthday to have!! I love Saint Patrick's day. Yes 4H is my home away from home! I love showing there, except when I showed my chicken for the first time last year I got discouraged because the judge was rude and was only pointing out the flaws in my bird...oh well. Your horses are beautiful. I learned about colic in a vet science class, it sounds absolutely horrible! I am sorry for your loss. That's crazy, Dolly is an icon! I love her.Hello, my father's birthday was march 17th, RIP Dad...St Patrick's day, my birthday is the same week, Flanigan's was our special place for our birthday dinner I always order the same thing.... good morning, thank you...I understand how you feel about the judge thing, if you dont mind me saying...do not be discouraged, do not let other people rain on your parade, stay positive, be positive, and put your best foot forward in everything you do, not just for the "judges" in your life however also for your own personal growth and satisfaction. be well young friend! That is a great birthday to have!!
