Hey guys i need some advice about my duck eggs.

Hello friends my duck has been in nesting about 4 weeks now. I live in the Caribbean and my ducks build their own nest in the back yard. Yesterday I found a dead ducking away from the nest and I was devastated because I thought it was my dog that took the egg from the nest. This morning I found the duck over another egg she just cracked it the same spot and the duckling was alive and there was fresh blood in the egg she just walked away and left it there to die . It didn't last long after she walked away. Can anyone tell me what's going on.

sorry for the circumstances. Sounds as if for some reason she does not recognize the ducklings as hers. In order to save them you will probably have to rig up an incubator and take the eggs from her. Good luck.

Today I saw four ducklings with their mommy but there are 10 eggs left unmatched
. How do I know if the other eggs are good? I am new to this.
