What breeds do you have? I'm sorry to hear about your chicks! You could start a thread in the Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures and give some more information and you may get some helpful answers.

Do have birds of your own?
Yes all kinds silkies, polish, Ameracanas, buff brahmas and a few others we recently hatched our first chick naturally! I need some help with crop problems with 3-4 week old chicks, could you help me? Our Chicks have large crops leaning on the side of there neck it's soft and squishy so I'm leading towards sour crop..we have gave them grit and right now all they have is apple vinegar with water.. Is there any thing else to do?

You do have a nice mix! I've never had any experience with crop issues before but if you start a thread in the Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures forum or talk to a member called
  • TwoCrows who has had experience with sour crop for help :). I hope you can find out what the problem is!
