I am Sonja from Midland,TX and I am new at this chicken thing. I currently have 7 hens and all but 1 are laying. This has been so much fun and I enjoy my girls so much!!!

Hello Sonja, welcome to the site. The weather of late summer is so hot that most of the chickens not laying at all. You will see them all in action at around late Dec/early Jan.
