My husband and I are TOTAL newbs but have been really loving our new "hobby" for the past month! We have a chicken-tractor-turned-permanent-coop that we are still working on and have 6 sweet laying hens. (Rhode Island Reds and Red Stars?) Anyways, we are learning every day from them, from you all, and even our 2 little boys that are also having a ball learning all about chickens! (which has been my favorite part).

Just wanted to warn everyone that I'll be posting some more of (more than likely) the same ol' newbie questions, so I apologize in advance. Thanks much, and I look forward to getting to know everyone
