My family live in Central Texas and just move out to the country about a year ago. We have had our chickens for about 6 months and I am totally in love with them! We have 5 hens total: 2 Barred Rocks and 3 Rhode Island Reds. We have 2 heifers, 1 cow and dog as well. I am super excited to join BYC as I have been looking to this forum for tips and such since I first started caring for my little fuzz ball baby chicks, last spring.
