Hey ya'll, Im new here today..
I just got my first chicks today Ive been researching and then when it came to picking them out.. I was like OOOOh I cant remember what the rooster chick looks like of this breed. I sure hope i pulled all pullets. I chose 6 dark Brahmas, then I splurged and got 2 red comets, 2 leghorn and 2 bl australop ? on spelling sorry..
My son and I are very excited and are hopeing to show a couple of girls at the fairs this fair season here in upstate SC.
Im having a dicckens of a time finding chicken fanciers groups or clubs.
looks like im in a good area now to get some helpful advice and join in the fun ..

Hi from Joshua Tree California! I have had MY first chicks for 4 weeks now and I LOOOOOOOOVE them!!!! I love just sitting in the run with them. Here is a pic I took this morning of one of my Buff Orpingtons.

She loves to be pet. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours that I have of mine so far!!
