I'm a new member to this group so I wanted to introduce myself and say hello.
I'm a mother of a two year old, a dog, and a cat, as well as being a wife and an artist. Lately I am envisioning the possibility of having four or so chickens in our backyard. I'm mildly obsessed with researching right now, so I'd readily eat up any advice you have.
We have a house on about an acre of land with a woodsy backyard. I'd like to have chickens as pets and egg-layers. I'm leaning toward a mobile coop with some portable fencing.
