Hi everyone!
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been skimming this website all day, and finally got around to making an account. I live in New South Wales, Australia, and we're just approaching winter - my poor seedlings aren't doing all that well, but I can finally start wearing long pants again.
I don't own any chooks yet, but I'm planning to in the near future, once my family has moved. I don't want to confuse the poor chooks with a change of scenery after a few days with me! After reading a lot of the articles, I think I've got my heart set on Wyandottes. The only trouble is they're a bit harder to find this side of the equator, but I'm determined. Already got my eyes on a coop. I'd love to build one someday, but I'm a little bit handicapped at the moment. But that just means more time to plan!
