Hi Folks,
My name is Danielle and I live on Long Island. I just ordered three pullets from McMurray and should get them in April. I still have to build my coop. I'm planning on doing an A-frame tractor. But with the winter we just had, I am concerned that they will be warm enough and/or have a place to come out into... I live on a half acre in Smithtown, and should have enough yard for them to range around in. We currently have a Kangal (large livestock guardian dog), a cat (indoors who wants to be outdoors), and three bunnies (two Femish Giants who live out in hutches, and a small lop (who spent this winter indoors because she was sick)... Oh, and I also have a hubby and two daughters (16 & almost 15).
You'll see me around on the board asking lots of questions, I'm sure! I want to learn as much as I can!
