I'm here because about a week ago 3 roosters and 2 hens decided they wanted to take up residence in my front yard flower bed(we live in city limits.) We couldn't find their owners so we decided to move them to our farm outside of town. I know very little about chickens including what to feed them, where they sleep, etc. I started searching the internet and came upon this website, so here I am!!

Hi and welcome to BYC - great that you have joined us.

Here’s a link to the Articles section - https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/ There you’ll find lots of information on almost every aspect of keeping chickens - from coop building ideas, to incubating eggs.

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

Each week, various topics are discussed, which can also be a great resource - https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/topic-of-the-week-thread-archive

Sounds like too many roosters, too few hens.. So many people have birds coming into their yards and staying there. They only thing I get is stray cats using my flower beds for their toilet.
