Been a long, long time since I've posted here. Got out of chickens for a few years, but have been bitten by the bug again, and am making preparations for a new flock. I'm super excited, but realize that I don't remember a whole lot about raising/keeping chickens, and thought it would be a good idea to come here to refresh my memory! This time around, I'm interested in hatching chicks, both with hens, and maybe an incubator. Know that this is the place to come for ideas and advice! It's good to be back!:wee

Greetings and welcome back to BYC & chickeneering! So glad you re-joined us. There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. It hasn't been THAT long... I'm sure it will all come back to you quickly enough. It's the NEW stuff (hatching) that will be most beneficial if you've never done it. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Hope you enjoy the site!

G’Day from down under sphillips :frow Welcome Back!

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
