Well another new member, loving this new hobby.
I leaped into chicken ownership last March when I walked into a local Murdoch's for bee hive accessories and came out with 4 baby chicks, then later two more from a different store. The coming weeks was a blur of activity, the initial pen, expanded size, building Coop and Enclosure, permit, (I did put the chick before the permit) - all good until one began crowing... Not allowed to own roosters part of the reason I am here. Currently 4 Americaunas that almost remind me of a mostly brown large pheasant, very beautiful and a spectacular pair of light Brahma's
In Colorado, live with my son, do IT work, suburban chicken owner grateful my city passed ordnance allowing.
