Hi everyone!

We have had chickens for 3 years and currently have 9 hens and 2 roosters (Rhode Island Red, Specked Sussex and Silver Laced Wyandottes). We live in Colorado at altitude. I joined today because I'm having a heck of time trying to successfully incubate eggs and another much smaller group that I am in talks frequently about this forum being a great resource. Looking forward to learning!

Hi and welcome to BYC! This is a great community of chicken lovers. Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Check in on the Colorado thread. I know Margie does some hatching of quail and chickens up the hill. Someone else does ducks and I remember some discussion of dry incubating on the western slope. Can't remember names as they've been silent lately but try rattling their cages. I've only done a handful of batches. Not enough to really develop a lot of information and I'm in the front range.
