Hey Everyone!
I am very excited to join this group, EVERY time I google something about my chickens and ducks it takes me to this group. I officially decided to join so that I can ask questions myself get whatever info you can provide or help I may need. I have 6 chickens all hens and two ducks as of right now (may get more because I think they're males). All of my chickens are different breeds and so are my two ducks. The thing I am looking for more information on is my duck. I think they're both males, key word "think" the khaki campbell is for sure a male, by his green plumage and curly drake feathers. My other duck is a pekin, he/she is all white no black feather which can randomly appear ive read in some of my researching (not sure how true that is).. slight curl to one end feather but not enough to identify. This Pekin surely has me stumped, One moment I think its a boy next im thinking girl. I have vent sexed this bird twice and never found a penis.. The other duck my khaki campbell keeps trying to mate with it. It has a much louder quack, not sounding like a honk which I have read most hear, BUT LOUD. This duck also is always in a nesting box acting like its going to lay an egg. Im hoping he/she is a she and provides me with some eggs! that was our initial goal. Please help identify the sex of this duck if you can. Thank you.
